“First time visiting Flying Mango. Good food, not your usual BBQ! We had the pork tenderloin and smoked half chicken. Others at our table had Cajun catfish and said it was very good! Excellent service by Lynn, friendly staff and owner!”

“It was nice to get seated when the main dining room was so busy. Had the shrimp pontchatrain, which was like comfort if you miss seafood. Also had the ginger mango non-alcoholic drink (driving through town), which was like a ginger bread cookie in a soda, warm and cold at the same time. Staff were excellent, attentive, and welcoming. Flying Mango is a must try.”

“"The Cajun Chicken sandwich, with thick-cut bacon and goat cheese, with a side of 'grits of the day.' " I order the same thing nearly every time. Occasionally I'll splurge and get their 24hr beef brisket, and one of their fantastic desserts. I've never been disappointed, and I'm confident I would have the same experience with anything else on their menu. Since I always order to-go, I can’t speak to the dine-in experience. However, the service has always been fast and friendly, even when they're busy—which is often. And that's always a good sign.”
