“This is one of I was best kept secrets when I pulled up. I’m thinking oh my God this place is a hole in the wall. It’s my birthday. I made a reservation. Something told me to stay. Oh, and I’m so glad I did. This place did not disappoint. The food was amazing. I had the ribs with the Brisket and I had the catfish cake for an appetizer. All were amazing and the price was not bad the service was excellent.”

“Shout out to Flying Mango for this amazing brisket sandwich and the potato of the day. I ordered it to go. Ready when they said it would be (actually earlier). The brisket melted in your mouth, it was so tender. The bbq sauce paired perfectly with the meat!! Best barbecue in town. My son and I split this… two very satisfied customers. Definitely a place to go in Des Moines. Great food, good people, and the perfect atmosphere!”
